Dress Code

The Edge is about food, fun and friends. Some guest choose to "dress for dinner" while other are comfortable in "casual style".Tonight's attire is what you want it to be, formal restrictions do not apply.


Getting Here

The restaurant is located on the edge a beautiful and unique property.

As you turn down Stonecoast Road, our driveway off of US Route One, parking for The Edge is located in the area on your left of the driveway. Please stop and meet our valet who will greet you offering direction of parking and the short picturesque walk to arrive at The Edge.

Please advise the valet, for direction of handicap parking in front of the restaurant.

Our main entrance and upper level including; dining room, covered deck and restroom are handicap accessible.  The Tantalus Lounge and our wine room are located on the second floor at ground level and are accessible only by stairs. The terrace area is located at ground level with outdoor access, over the lawn. 


Payment Methods

Payments may be made in cash, traveler's checks or using American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Diner Club or Discover Cards. Please note an 18% gratuity is applied to all parties of six or more guests.


Give the Gift of Good Taste

Gift Certificates are always available for sale in any denomination in person or over the phone. Edge gift certificates have no expiration date. Certificates with a remaining value over $10 after being redeemed will be reissued for the remaining balance to be used at a later date.


To Our Guests with Dietary Restrictions

Please inform your server at the time of your order and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. For allergy sensitive dinners please feel free to contact us prior to your arrival to make any arrangements necessary for your meal. We are accustom to preparing foods and delicious meals that can be made free of nuts, shellfish, additional sodium, additional sugars, dairy , wheat and or gluten as well as prepare items that are completely vegan or vegetarian. All menu items and accompaniments are made daily from scratch and cooked to order.


Children's Meals

For our guests with petite appetites we can prepare most menu items as a smaller portion. For those with delicate palates we offer any combination of pasta with butter, cheese and tomato sauce, a selection of fresh steamed vegetables and a simply grilled chicken breast.

Isleboro - Lincolnville Ferry

Many guests arrive to us after short boat ride from a neighboring island.

Our nearest ports of call are the Lincolnville Ferry Terminal one mile North of The Edge on Route One and Camden Harbor five miles South. For car, taxi or shuttle service to The Edge guests need to call on one of the many local transportation services in Knox or Waldo County.

We need to make the ferry, how long does dinner take? Most couples will enjoy a lively dinner with cocktails in an hour and half, accounting one additional half hour for every two additional guests in your party is a likely time frame.

Please inform us that you have a time sensitive engagement following dinner. Just a bite or a three course dinner, we will make sure you are on time for certain.

Birthdays, Anniversary or Milestone to Celebrate.

 Please let us know prior to arrival, we can help and promise not to sing. We will be glad to make arrangements, including personalizing the daily menu for the occasion and celebrating the guest of honor with a decedent chocolate cup cake with hazelnut frosting and candle, having a special bottle of wine ready or by assisting in any way we can to make it a night to remember. Specialized, Favorite Ingredients or Desserts

Our menus change often, if you desire something special it may be pre ordered with at least 72 hours notice prior to you reservation date. Please call Natasha at 207.236.4430 with your request for, current item availability and pricing.
On special occasions guests are welcome to serve a celebratory cake that has been purchased from a near by licensed bakery. Please let us know 24 hours in advance and will present and serve your cake or dessert at a plating fee of $3. Per person.

What is Pizza Night?

Sunday's are Special at The Edge!

Sunday Night is Pizza Night! Beginning at 5:30pm

Pizza Night is a fun, casual way to enjoy Sunday evenings with family or friends.

Start with a family style salad to share then sit back and relax as gourmet wood fired pizzas are paraded to you. Each week we offer a selection of seven varieties of hand stretched pizza's with toppings from land and sea. As each pizza comes out of the oven it is presented to you at the table to choose from the slices you love like classic marguerite with fresh basil and new favorites to taste such as Maine shrimp cocktail or Ruben with Morse's sauerkraut, corn beef and Swiss cheese. Pizza Night is $18 per person and $9 for children 10 years and under. Pizza Night is very popular and reservations are strongly suggested and necessary for parties of six or more. Please note that the dinner menu is not offered on Sunday, the price person does not include beverages, dessert, tax or tip.

Each afternoon we host happy hours from 4 - 6pm in the Tantalus Lounge.
